Little Helper, Helping Himself

This morning I couldn’t find the pair of shoes I wanted to put on Lucas. I was also having trouble finding his shorts. I knew he’d wandered off with them after having his diaper changed, but I didn’t see them in any of the rooms he’d been in. Finally I found them tossed in his dirty clothes bin.

Later after lunch I heard this loud “thunk! Thunk! Thunk!” coming from his bedroom. I figured I’d better go check the sound out since it was a rather loud noise for Lucas to manage to make. I discovered him tossing as many of his books as he could get his hands on into his clothes bin. And shoes…so after a bit of digging I located the missing shoes. He’s so cute when he puts his own clothes in the hamper in the evening but I hadn’t quite seen it leading to this. I guess when anything goes missing now, we know where to look…heh, or at least who to blame.

His other success for the week was managing to snag his first European chocolates which he quickly stuffed in his mouth before I could take it from him. He seems to have a taste for dark chocolate.
